Transportation In Urban Albemarle
Whether you're traveling to work, to shop, to the
doctors office, or just to visit a friend, JAUNT
has a route that can help you get around. Our staff
of friendly people and seventy vehicle fleet travel
all over Albemarle County, providing public transportation
for everyone.

Services to Charlottesville
Rural
Demand Response
Service
to every destination in the County
Fares range from $1.75 to $3.25, depending on the
service. Call us now at (434) 296-3184.
Service is available Monday through Saturday 6 AM
to 11:30 PM and Sundays 7 AM to 10 PM. For an application
for certification, please contact CTS at 296-RIDE.
Rural
Services to Charlottesville
Anyone can ride on JAUNT’s scheduled routes to Charlottesville
from Crozet, Earlysville, Keswick, Stony Point,
Scottsville and Esmont. Please call for scheduled
times and availability. The fare is $3.00 each way,
Monday through Friday.
Passengers can connect with CTS for FREE with a
transfer while in Charlottesville.
Rural
Demand-Response
For transportation outside the scheduled routes,
JAUNT provides service with fares ranging from $2.60
to $12.50, depending on the distance and whether
the passenger has a disability or is a senior.
Rural
Services within the County
Anyone can ride JAUNT services within Albemarle
County. Service is offered Wednesday to Crozet and
Tuesday and Thursday to Scottsville and Esmont.
The fare is $2.00 each way and $1.00 for passengers
with disabilities and those 60 years and older.
There is no charge for seniors to ride to the Esmont,
Keswick, and Scottsville senior centers.
