Our friendly staff and 104 vehicle fleet provide public transportation for everyone. So, whether you’re traveling to work, shopping, seeing a doctor, or even catching a movie, Jaunt can help you get around.

Step One. Plan

Need to get to work, school, grocery store, or a medical appointment?

The first step to an enjoyable trip is to determine which Jaunt service suits your needs best. If you’ve never ridden Jaunt before, look at our trip planner and see where we can take you. If you have any questions, one of our helpful reservation specialists can be reached at (434) 296-3184.

Step 2. Schedule

First Time Riding with Jaunt?

If you are a first-time rider using one of Jaunt’s general public services, please call (434) 296-3184, option 1, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Our team will help set up your rider profile, answer your questions, and share helpful information to make your first trip as easy and comfortable as possible.

Planning your ride: Reservations must be made at least one day in advance and may be scheduled up to seven days in advance. We encourage new riders to call early so there is enough time to create your profile and schedule your trip.

Need ADA Paratransit?
ADA Paratransit requires an eligibility application and approval before service can be scheduled. If a disability prevents you from using the regular fixed-route transit system, please visit our ADA Paratransit page to learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply.

Reservations are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For fast service, please have the following information ready:

Street address of pickup point. Remember to mention helpful tips so the driver can find you quickly
Your desired pickup time
Time of appointment (if applicable)
Name and address of your destination, including the name of the building or shopping center
