Commuter
Routes to Charlottesville
Lovingston Commuter Route
Service starts at 6:45 am from Lovingston, making
stops along Route 29. The route arrives in Charlottesville
around 8:00 am and departs at 4:45 pm. This route
drops off in the UVA area.
Roseland Commuter Route
This route begins at 6:00 am, taking Route 151
to Route 56 east to Route 29. The route arrives
in Charlottesville around 7:00 am and drops off
in downtown Charlottesville and UVA areas. The
route leaves at 4:45 pm.
Services Offered: Monday through Friday
Fare: 2.50 each trip

Nelson/Amherst to Wintergreen
Service Offered: Wednesday through Monday. (through March 15th 2011)
Fare: $3.50 each trip
This route begins at 7:15 a.m. Stops include:
7:30 a.m. Ridge Lane, Lovingston
8:00 a.m. Food Lion, Amherst
8:15 a.m. Hill Top Grocery, Amherst
8:50 a.m. Wintergreen Resort
This route begins the return trip at 5:00 p.m.

Wintergreen Resort to Charlottesville
This route departs from Wintergreen at 9:00 a.m. and goes to the CAT bus stop at the Barracks Rd. CVS in Charlottesville. The return pickup is at 4 p.m.

Fare: $3.50 per trip
Charlottesville to Wintergreen Resort
This route departs from the CAT bus stop at the Barracks Rd. CVS at 7:45 a.m. This route leaves Wintergreen Resort at 5:00 p.m.

Midday
Service to Charlottesville
Midday, door-to-door service to Charlottesville
is available in all of Nelson County. The service
arrives in Charlottesville around 10:00 am and returns
to Nelson County at 3:45 pm.

Transportation is available to the Nelson Center

- Seniors ride FREE to the Nelson Center for the senior program.
Rockfish Valley: Nellysford/Afton
Service Offered: Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Fare:
- $2.25 each trip
- $1.25 for passengers with disabilities and those
age 60 and older
- Seniors ride FREE to the Rockfish Senior Center for the senior program.

Nelson Food Pantry Transportation
JAUNT received a Nelson County Community Fund Grant to provide FREE transportation to and from the Nelson County Food Pantry.
When: the last Saturday of every month
Who: Every Nelson resident who would like to go to the food pantry.
How: Call JAUNT today to make your reservation to ride.
All routes require EXACT change.
