Service
Fares range from $1.75 to $3.25, depending on

Commuter
Routes to Charlottesville
Lovingston Express Route
Service starts at 6:45 am from Lovingston, making
stops along Route 29. The route arrives in Charlottesville
around 7:45 am and departs at 4:30 pm. This route
drops off in the UVA area.
Roseland Route
This route begins at 6:00 am, taking Route 151
to Route 56 east to Route 29. The route arrives
in Charlottesville around 7:00 am and drops off
in downtown Charlottesville and UVA areas. The
route leaves at 4:45 pm.
Both services offered Monday through Friday
Fare: $2.50 each way
20% discount when you buy tickets.
Passengers can connect with CTS for FREE with
transfer while in Charlottesville.
Commuter
Route to Wintergreen
Service offered from the Piney River and Lovingston
areas 7 days a week. Call for more information.
Fare: $2.50 each way
Midday
Service to Charlottesville
Midday, door-to-door service to Charlottesville
is available in all of Nelson County. The service
arrives in Charlottesville around 10:00 am and returns
to Nelson County at 3:45 pm.
Service Offered: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Fare for midday service: $2.75 each way and $1.75
for passengers with disabilities and those age 60
and older.
Nelson Center and
Lovingston
Transportation is available to the Nelson Center
and to the Lovingston area for shopping and other
errands on Mondays and Tuesdays. There is no charge
to the Nelson Center for seniors.
Fare: $2.25 each way and $1.25 for passengers with
disabilities and those age 60 and older
Nellysford/Afton
Intracounty
Transportation is offered in the Nellysford
/Afton area on Thursdays. Fare: $2.25 each way and
$1.25 for passengers with disabilities and those
age 60 and older, no charge to Rockfish Senior Center.
Ask about the Guaranteed Ride Home for Nelson residents who use JAUNT or car/van pool. To register or for more information, click here.
