Mobility Manager

JAUNT recently hired a Mobility Manager who will provide transportation consulting for the area’s human service agencies.  This grant-funded program was designed to help agencies use their transportation resources more effectively, as well as work toward new solutions for clients who need transportation.   If you are an agency representative who would like to arrange for a free consultation, please give Peter Ohlms a call at 296-3184 ext. 120.

Fluvanna County

JAUNT and Fluvanna County and have created an after-school and Saturday express service. Our grant application was successful, service will start in July and August, with two vehicles providing service throughout the County. Click here for fares and schedules.

Greene County

Currently JAUNT provides transfer service with Greene County Transit (GCT), as well as limited direct service after hours. These services allow passengers to travel between Charlottesville, Albemarle and Greene County. We are also working together with GCT toward providing expanded work transportation (commuter) trips to and from Greene in the future.

Orange County

Wednesday, JAUNT connects with the Town of Orange Transit (TOOT) bus, linking the Charlottesville area with Orange County. Transfer fares on JAUNT are $2.50, and include a FREE transfer to Charlottesville Transit Service (CTS).
