Mobility Manager
We are pleased to annouce that we have been awarded the grant for a Mobility Manager. The Mobility Manager will serve as a consultant to area agencies to help them use transporation resources more effectively, whether those resources are the agency's own vehicles/drivers, JAUNT services, or other transportation options. The Mobility Manager will also identify gaps in services that would prevent clients from accessing services they need. Fluvanna County
JAUNT and Fluvanna County and have created an after-school and Saturday express service. Our grant application was successful, service will start in July and August, with two vehicles providing service throughout the County. Click here for fares and schedules.
Greene County
Currently JAUNT provides transfer service with Greene County Transit (GCT), as well as limited direct service after hours. These services allow passengers to travel between Charlottesville, Albemarle and Greene County. We are also working together with GCT toward providing expanded work transportation (commuter) trips to and from Greene in the future.
Orange County
Wednesday, JAUNT connects with the Town of Orange Transit (TOOT) bus, linking the Charlottesville area with Orange County. Transfer fares on JAUNT are $2.50, and include a FREE transfer to Charlottesville Transit Service (CTS).
